Pregnancy Health Screening

Please read the following list of Pregnancy Health Conditions & Pain/Discomfort. If you answer “YES” to any of them, we advise you to get GP sign off before commencing any of the exercises programmes in the members club.
Pregnancy Health Conditions

  • *Persistent 2 nd /3 rd trimester bleeding

  • Hemodynamically significant heart disease

  • Restrictive lunge disease

  • Placenta previa (after 6 weeks)

  • Pregnancy-induced hypertension

  • Incompetent cervix

  • Ruptured membranes

  • Hyperemesis Gravidarum

  • Gestational diabetes

  • Extreme fatigue

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

  • Symphysis pubic dysfunction/pelvic girdle pain (PGP)

Pain / Discomfort

  • Sacrum/coccyx/ sacroiliac pain

  • Sciatica

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction – pain, leakage (urine or faecal) or prolapse

  • Piles or constipation

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

  • Any joint aches and pains

  • Any muscular aches and pains



It is your responsibility to update us of any changes to your health or medical circumstances that may affect you participating in an exercise programme.  We advise all of our pregnant clients to listen to their body and remember, that during pregnancy we are exercising for health and NOT weight loss/strength gains.
